More Rosette Headbands

Hey! Yes, I am alive. Just pregnant. I have been making things still, but not so much blogging about them. For example, these lovely creations were made in December. Yes, December. Yes, that is how far behind I am. 

I love these headbands! They are extra great for days I have to be to church an hour before the family and we are running behind and my husband is stuck with hair duty. Headband in place and off they go.

Laundry Room Spruce Up

It isn't quite a remodel, but we did a little spruce up to the laundry room this last December.

This is what we did:

• We moved the cabinets up. There used to be space between the cabinets and the ceiling. We moved them up to give us some more space. 
• Painted the wall grey where the new shelves would be. This was just to give it some dimension.
• Added some shelves below the cabinets for some extra storage.
• Bought new washer and dryer.

We hope to really remodel this room in a big way in about 5 years or so, so we just did a light spruce up for now. 

Spice Pull-Out

At the parade of homes this year, the feature we found and loved most was a pull-out spice rack next to the stove. Not only is it conveniently located, but you can see all of your spices!

Nate figured out we could fit one next to our stove, so while we remodeled the kitchen this winter, he designed and built this for me. Isn't it fabulous?

Master Bedroom Pillows

Due to some painting in our master bedroom, I needed to re-do our pillows. They were red, which was nice then, but not going to work now.

Kitchen Remodel

We recently remodeled our kitchen. The lack of counter space finally got the better of me and we moved it way up on our priority list.

The lighting was terrible the day I took this, so things have a bit of a red tint to them. 

We added a peninsula bar, tiled the backsplash, painted the cabinets, and got granite countertops! We love it!

I wanted some pics of McKenna reading books for our bookshelves (you can see in the background. I already have some of Brayden and Kaitlyn thanks to Serra, so I just needed McKenna. Here is what I got!

Toy Diaper Bag

I have been MIA because I have been tired because I am pregnant :)

If I could change something, I would have put the pocket on the flap on the main body under the flap--for practicality. But it is a cute accent there on the outside :)
