Hat Holder

This was my dad's Christmas present. It is a baseball cap holder. The hat goes in each "X." He loves hats, so I thought this would be a good way for him to store his hats. I think he liked it, but he is my dad and is supposed to love everything I make, right? :)

Christmas Bows

I went a little crazy at the craft store when I found this sparkly ribbon. I just loved it! Here are the Christmas bows I made.

Christmas Leggings

Well, I didn't have much luck at the dollar store with socks, but I did find these for some Christmas leggings! I am obsessed!
My sister-in-law Melanie directed me to some tutorials for how to make these. My favorite one is here. But I didn't cut the foot (the cuff) and re-sew it. I just turned it inside out then right side out...

Leggings

I am very excited for my new passion. Making leggings. I went through my socks and found several I was willing to part with and several still with tags, so here are my beginnings:

These were toe socks! At first, Kaitlyn was not thrilled with leggings, but now she loves them.

Next stop, dollar store for dollar socks!

More Bows!

Remember how I said I was done making bows? Well, I wasn't. My friend Natalie asked me to make some for her sister-in-law. Hurray! I love making bows. While I was at it, I made a new white one for McKenna.

Cape

This is nothing spectacular, but I made it! So here it is. I made this cape for Kaitlyn to go with her Halloween costume. Simple, but she loves it. Children are so easy to please.

Dainty Bows

I have been continuing my crazy bow phase. I found some bows I had made for Kaitlyn when she was a baby that I never used much. I love them on McKenna! She has a smaller head, so they are cute on her. They are great for the dainty heads. So I had to make one in very color I could.

Here is a new version:

Here is the old version:
I made some more flowers

Here is the old version in a larger size of ribbon

I made a couple of these:

This was new. I wanted a dainty bow that could incorporate a lot of colors. So I braided all of these ribbons together. It looks cute on. I will have to get a picture of it on her.

A bunch of new colors:

A couple of the flower ribbons:

Sadly, there are more I want to make. I know, I am obsessed. I am going to move on to something new for now and come back. I think she has enough to get her through a month or so ;)

Flowers

I have been making some flowers recently for my girls. I am really liking putting buttons in the middle of them right now.

Here I made one set for each girl so they can both wear pigtails and match (once McKenna gets enough hair)

For this one, I did a bead in the middle instead of a button

All of them together. The orange-ish, white, and pink ones all just have normal middles, so I didn't think you needed to see them up close :)

New Blog

Lately, I have basically been packing. However, I have also spent time making fun activities to do with my kids. I decided to team up with a couple of friends to do a Children's Learning Activities blog. Check it out here:

Bracelets

Here are my most recent bracelets I have made for myself.

This is the tear drop bracelet that inspired the little girl flower bracelets. I love it because it has so many different colors.

This was my Fourth of July bracelet. It was like fireworks.

Baby Bracelets

I have been making jewelry again lately. Here are my recent baby bracelets:

This is for my niece Amy. I love these little things! I was making a tear drop bracelet for myself and thought, "These look like flowers" so I made some flower ones!

This is Kaitlyn's flower bracelet:

And I loved it so much I made her a Fourth of July one

This one is for my nieces Kayla and Chloe

Then next four are for some twin girls that my friend recently had:

The next two are for a friend of Brayden's:

The next two are pics of the same bracelet. This was McKenna's 3 month pictures bracelet

Another Car Seat Cover

You can see that I really do love these things. My friend Natalie just had a baby boy. It was harder to find cute boy fabric (you know, cute but respectable?). Here it is!
Instead of the bow at the handles I did a nice big button.
